The Youth Ministry consists of sixth through twelfth grade students who meet regularly. We strive to illustrate Jesus in our acceptance, forgiveness, and service. The theme for SFUMY 2007-2008 is: "Be Who You Are." We believe that we are children of God. We believe that Jesus has made us who we are. Jesus has become one of us, has died for us, and has risen; we are adopted as God's children. Will we accept the gift God has given us?
This year, the challenge SFUMY extends to all of Saint Francis is "Be Who You Are." We will be examining the tools and gifts God has given us to help us learn who we really are. We will discover what it is to be a church, because we thirst for knowledge and understanding. We will celebrate and have fun, because we are a people of joy. We will examine many facets of our identity each Sunday night through growth groups, talks, games. worship, and music, because we are a community. We will find out all we can about who God made us to be. It is time to "be who you are" at SFUMY. Check out our calendar of events.
