Children's Sunday School

At Saint Francis UMC, our children's Sunday School classes are for age three (age 3 by October 16) to fifth grade. The younger children (age 3 to Kindergarten) participate in the Exploring Faith program. First to fifth graders are in the Bible Adventure program.

Arrival Fun.  2. Bible Story Time.  3. Live God's Word.

Bible Adventure Sunday School

Time:  9:45 a.m.

Location: Each grade in Bible Adventure will travel to a different station each week.  All stations for First through fifth grade are on the Education Hallway in the Sanctuary Building, and a room assignment chart is provided at the top of the staircase.  Grade assignments are also posted outside each classroom.

Type of Curriculum: A kid friendly, Bible-based Church School program that celebrates children's different learning styles. Designed for children in grades 1-5.

Bible themes are taught in a five-week rotation, focusing on different aspects of the story each week.  Children rotate with their grade-level flock to a new "adventure" each week.  They may go to Music (Joyful Noise), Games (Solomon's Arcade), Storytelling (Temple Tales), Art (Creation Station), or Video (Faith Quest).  Shepherds are Prayer and Care Partners who provide continuity and nurture for the children and travel with their flock to each rotation.  Station leaders plan and supervise the lesson at each station.
