At Saint Francis UMC, our children's Sunday School classes are for age three (age 3 by October 16) to fifth grade. The younger children (age 3 to Kindergarten) participate in the Exploring Faith program. First to fifth graders are in the Bible Adventure program. Type of Curriculum: The Bible is the key resource for Exploring Faith. Along with a Bible Storybook preschoolers and Kindergarteners can enjoy and learn about the stories of the Christian faith. The lessons are also broken down into three parts: 1. Arrival Fun. 2. Bible Story Time. 3. Live God's Word.
Bible Adventure Sunday School Time: 9:45 a.m. Location: Each grade in Bible Adventure will travel to a different station each week. All stations for First through fifth grade are on the Education Hallway in the Sanctuary Building, and a room assignment chart is provided at the top of the staircase. Grade assignments are also posted outside each classroom.
Type of Curriculum: A kid friendly, Bible-based Church School program that celebrates children's different learning styles. Designed for children in grades 1-5. |
