Prayer is one of the most important ministries at Saint Francis. Our PrayerWorks Ministry is intended to foster regular and intentional prayer as a form of spiritual enrichment, as well as laying before God our joys and our concerns. Methodism has a long tradition of intentional prayer. The original "Holy Club" founded in the early 1700s at Oxford University by Charles Wesley, and led by his brother John, emphasized the disciplines of regular prayer, worship and service to others. It was this methodical approach to religious duty that led to the members of the Club gaining the nickname of "Methodists." Prayer request cards are available in our attendance pads and in the Narthex. Or, if you cannot complete a card, and have a special request for prayer, please feel free to complete the form below. Your request will be honored by our PrayerWorks group. For details on upcoming PrayerWorks meetings and orientation sessions, see the church calendar. For more information about our PrayerWorks Ministry, call the church office at 919-362-1666.
