| Mission Trip to El Salvador (Habitat for Humanity) |

July 2008 In July of 2007, SFUMC teamed with Apex UMC to be a part of the "Building on Faith 2007" Habitat for Humanity International Program. During this time, four members of SFUMC worked as part of an international team of volunteers (U.S., Canada, and Ireland) and local El Salvadorans to complete 15 homes in three weeks for those living in the remote Ahuachapan region of El Salvador.
As part of this effort we are planning to send a larger team from SFUMC next summer to continue to grow our relationships there with the people of El Salvador, the UMC churches in the region, and with Habitat for Humanity International.
