Sunday Morning Worship
We gather for worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. As has been our founding tradition, we continue to offer Holy Communion every week. The first and third Sundays of each month feature the Eucharist at 8:30 a.m., and the second and fourth Sundays we celebrate Communion at 11:00 a.m. On the quarterly fifth Sundays, Communion is provided at both services.

While the two Sunday Morning Worship Services mirror one another in format, the 8:30 service is particularly family oriented, with programs and worship opportunities for families with young children, and with a large selection of music, both from our four children's choirs as well as from our adults, with ensembles, instrumentals and special music punctuating the hour. The 11:00 a.m. service tends to be a slightly more formal hour, but is still characterized by the warmth of our congregation, including a time to "Pass the Peace of Christ" with other congregants.

Open Communion

We celebrate open communion at Saint Francis, meaning that all those who wish to receive God's grace through the taking of the elements are invited to the table. We invite: members and non-members, those of faith and those seeking faith, any who are willing to accept the grace of God may partake in this holy sacrament.

Acolytes
Our Acolyte Program is open to children and youth from 3rd through 12th Grade. The young people spend time learning about the liturgy, the symbolism of the chancel setting, and the role of the acolyte in worship. The acolytes lead the procession at the beginning of Service, carrying in the Processional Cross and the Taper and lighting the candles on the altar. They assist at baptisms, and wait on the Lord's Table. If you are in 3rd Grade through 12th Grade, and are interested in serving the Lord as an acolyte, contact the church office, or  Alan Kerr.

Healing Service
We believe in God's healing power and offer healing services once a month, usually right after our 11:00 a.m. worship service on the last Sunday of the month.  Check our Church Calendar for the latest dates and times.
