Confirmation is a time of learning, growing and discovering what it means to be a member of the church. Traditionally, here at Saint Francis UMC, we offer Confirmation for sixth-graders, but anyone who has not been part of Confirmation before is welcome to join. 

NEW for 2008/2009, we are starting a year-long Confirmation process that begins the second week in September with a Kickoff event following the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, September 14.  We will gather to hear about the Confirmation Retreat, Confirmation Sunday School classes, Mentoring program for the Winter/ Spring, and participation in Discovery Weekend in January.  All of these events are part of building relationships, having fun, and opportunities for guidance as we encourage our youth while they live for Christ on a daily basis. Confirmation also builds to the Day of Pentecost in May when all those deciding to make professions of faith will join the church.
