We'd like to give you the chance to make an even bigger impact on your life or the life of someone you know. This is a chance to come into full relationship with someone who already knows you, and despite all your flaws, loves you. Yes, it includes dinner and a movie. And yes, that someone is Christ Jesus.
So, what do we do at ALPHA? First, dinner! Then there is a little music followed by a DVD of the ALPHA founder explaining the basics of Christianity. He is an excellent, gentle speaker, who uses humor and life examples to get across this important message. After the DVD there is a discussion time where you may ask anything without fear of being judged or embarrassed.
ALPHA is open to non-member and member adults. The course, including dinner and childcare, is provided at no charge, and there is no obligation to return for the following weeks. There is a fee for the retreat.
The ALPHA course meets Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 8:30 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). If you are interested in Alpha, please sign up online and someone will contact you about our 2010 start date.
