It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free
life. Just make sure that you don't sure this freedom as an excuse to do
whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your
freedom to serve one another in love, that's how freedom grows. For
everything we know about God's Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love
others as you love yourself. That's an act of true
freedom. Galatians 5:13-14 (The Message)
God calls each person to live a free life, but what exactly does
that mean? Immediately rushing through your mind are probably all the
ways that you are not free...living with your parents and obeying their rules,
going to school five days a week, so many extra-curricular activities, maybe
even a job. Come to SFUMY and find out how you can be free, free to live!
SFUMY meets Sunday nights during the school year from 6-8pm
in the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room). Expect worship, games, a talk, growth
groups and snack each week. Come experience Freedom!

C's of Confirmation.
Pilgrimage: November 12-14 @ Camp Dixie -Pilgrimage is a conference youth event where United
Methodist Youth from all over the NC Conference come together to experience
God, through music, testimonies and a speaker.
Discovery Lock-in: November 19-20 @ St. Francis UMC -This event is for high school youth to gather their ideas
and plan for Discovery, a 2011 event for middle school youth.
