JC 33 (Youth Praise Band)

JC 33, the Saint Francis Youth Praise Band, is open to middle and high school youth who have experience on vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drum set, or an instrument approved by the director.  Youth interested in sound engineering are also welcome.  JC 33 plays for various church services, youth events, and church events.  They provide music for the annual Saint Francis Discovery Weekend.  For 2011-2012, rehearsals resume on August 30.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 pm in the MPR

Cantamos (Youth Vocal Choir)

For grades 6 through 12, this group sings four-part music in different styles, ranging from renaissance to contemporary.  They prepare anthems for designated church services and for outreach in the community.  There are no auditions for the group, but there will be auditions during the year for solos and parts in the spring musical.  The choir season runs from September to May.  For 2011-2012, rehearsals resume on August 31. 

Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 313, with Youth PrayerWorks and Bible Study to follow.
